The paintings on display have been placed in two separate portfolios. 'Paintings for Sale' is a showcase for paintings currently on sale. The 'Gallery' includes paintings now in private collections and are shown here to demonstrate the artist's range. 

 

Doug enjoys adding some drama to his landscapes by the use of light. His landscapes are generally painted "en plein air", in all weathers. He believes the process of painting in situ gives the work life and vibrancy. Unfortunately, the recent pandemic has made it difficult to travel abroad. The result has been a series of paintings created in the studio using photographs as a resource.
